The library is closed.

The Stephen H. Hart Library is a regional research facility with collections that focus on Colorado and Western History.
The library provides public access to the research collections of the Colorado Historical Society, while insuring the protection of the state's documentary and cultural heritage for future generations. The Stephen H. Hart Library is a non-circulating research facility, so materials may not be checked out.

Library Closure
The library is closed as of November 1, 2009. We expect to reopen in 2012 in a new building. Information on the progress of the new building project is available on our web site. Check this website for additional information on the library closure.
